Seventh Annual Denver Fringe Festival Spotlights Unconventional, Uncensored and  Unjuried Independent Art, June 3–7

This Year’s Festival Showcases 80+ Original Productions Across 20+ Venues, Multiple FringeART Installations and KidsFringe Weekend Events

DENVER - April 30, 2026 - Denver’s most daring arts event returns with a lineup of boundary-breaking productions, transforming the city into a playground for independent art. Featuring more than 220 performances from 80+ original, self-produced shows, the seventh annual Denver Fringe Festival runs across multiple creative arts venues throughout the city between June 3-7. This “choose your own adventure” model spans theater, dance, comedy, circus, storytelling, cabaret, and beyond, all continuing the Fringe ethos of inclusivity and accessibility.

This year’s venues range from traditional mid-size theaters to small intimate black box theaters to more unexpected spaces like oddity shops, inviting audiences to explore the city in new ways. Whether a provocative solo show, a high-energy ensemble piece or an offbeat late-night cabaret, Fringe offers something for every kind of arts lover. In addition to the main performance schedule, this year’s festival features two curated FringeART visual art exhibitions as well as a full weekend of KidsFringe programming with free, family-friendly performances and activities.

“We strive to open the door to all kinds of creative expression,” said executive director Ann Sabbah. “What makes Fringe so exciting is that artists are taking risks, audiences are stepping into the unknown, and together we’re creating this spontaneous, inclusive experience where anything can happen.”

“Fringe has become such an inclusive, accessible community staple with space for everyone to showcase their work, with no barriers to entry,” said aerial dance performer Karlyn Griswold. “It makes me hopeful that the arts are very much alive and providing a place for people to truly be themselves.”

Tickets, just $20 for most shows, go on sale Friday, May 1, and as always, seventy percent of ticket revenue goes straight to the performers. Ticketing and more information is available at denverfringe.org. High-resolution photos, assets and b-roll can be found in the media kit.
